Abstract
A bearingless motor is a new type of motor with some remarkable characteristics such as compact structure, high power density, high speed and high power. However, the existence of higher harmonic will degrade the precision of mathematical model and the stability of closed-loop control system. Short-pitch windings can effectively inhibit higher harmonic in MMF and EMF. From this point of view, two stator winding structures are designed and analyzed in this paper.
