Abstract
Electromagnetic shielding principle is well known, but choosing the best type and shape for shields is still an intriguing and studied problem. The paper presents the author´s results regarding the attenuation of some types of shields. The main original contribution of this paper is an efficient analysis of the shields with holes, highlighting their advantages in comparison to those of the full ones. A 3D model of the electromagnetic field is analyzed, imposing the current sources in coils.
