Abstract

Summary form only given, as follows. This panel will discuss the importance of close collaboration between suppliers and automotive OEMs to develop successful electric vehicles. Some of the aspects that will be discussed in this panel include: Electrified Propulsion Vehicle Requirements; Electrified Powertrain Architecture; Regulations; Torque Security, Vehicle Safety, Communication (V2V, V2I), Entertainment etc.; Product Portfolio of suppliers to meet OEM demands; Adaptability of supplier product to support multiple vehicle platforms; Technical Innovation from suppliers to reduce system demand; and Cost Volatility/ Cost increase. A record of the panel discussion was not made available for publication as part of the conference proceedings.
