  • Abstract
    Summary form only given. Electron gun have developed for Compact Electron LINAC during 2 years in SKKU, Korea. Applications of the electron gun are 6 MV X-ray generator for medical treatment and 15 MV high dose rate X-ray generator for non-destructive detector. It is sure that they required different specification of initial electron beam at electron source, so that the electron gun were designed in term of different beam emission ability, such as diode and triode type. In detail, multi-electrode, diode and triode, high voltage pulse power supply and ultrahigh vacuum pumping system was constructed in SKKU laboratory, it also is being designed for diagnostic system to measure the electron beams from electron guns. Specification of pulse power supply is covered high voltage 25 k V, grid voltage 150 V, pulse width 10 us, repetition rate 300 Hz. Vacuum system also be covered less than 5E-8 mbar, pumping rate 20 l/s including rotary pump, turbo molecule pump, ion pump. Beam diagnostic system has capability of YAG screen, CCD camera and faraday cup for 10 ~ 300 mA current.
