Abstract
On-body wave propagation is investigated for low medical frequencies such as 433 MHz and 915 MHz. The paper applies the ground wave and creeping wave theories to calculate the approximate path gain, both along and around a human body. The formulas contain the characteristics of the human phantom shape and tissue properties. The analytical model is validated by FEKO simulation and measurements on a human male subject.
