Abstract
An efficient coding strategy is proposed that enables optimal echo path modelling of a speech telephony circuit. Original experimental results show that the proposed strategy improves the modelling convergence rate on noise-impaired circuits while using conventional real-time least-mean-square (LMS) digital adaptive filter (DAF) configurations
