Abstract
There exist two conductivities in the system with the spin Hall effect: the Drude conductivity and the anomalous Hall conductivity. Our theoretical results based on the effective mean-free-path model show that the asymmetry in these two conductivities induces a spin-dependent, directional diffusive scattering, and thus causes the spin accumulation
