Abstract
An in-plaane magnetic field, generated by a conductor pattern, is used to propagate Bloch line pairs, and to execute pair separation and recoupling processes. A row of parallel condcuctor stripes is connected to form two series, and the series are driven by a current pulse phase-shifted 1/4 cycle, to drive BL pairs. Pair separation and recoupling is effected by appropriately modifying the connections of the stripe conductors and the phase shift between drivirng currents. The results are applicable to gate operation in Bloch line memories.
