Abstract
The notion of a topologically arcwise connected set is used to develop a general graph-topology-based robustness test. The test provides a switching criterion among different inequality tests and possibly among different nominal models. When it is applied to extend the small-μ test, the result reduces conservatism and allows a more natural application of the test
