  • Abstract
    We studied a new method of preparing a Nd-Fe-B-bonded magnets by compacting and rolling or stamping, and applications to small dc motors were examined. Consequently, we developed new preparation processes of Nd-Fe-B-bonded magnets using materials other than Nd-Fe-B melt-spun powder. It was found that applications of the prepared magnets to small dc motors improved their performance.
