Abstract
An experiment performed to develop transfer functions for human tracking response is discussed. The experiment tested one-dimensional, sine-wave tracking to determine time delay and the transfer function. Using system identification techniques, best models were selected for each of five different frequencies of the test sine-wave input. Bode plots, magnitude, and phase are given for the system that best models the way humans react. Step responses for these models are also given. This process provides an excellent tutorial in programming, system modelling, and simulation
