  • Abstract
Lately microprocessor-based control techniques for a complex control circuit of cycloconverter systems have been increasingly used with rapid progress of microprocessor systems [1]-[4]. Digital control cycloconverter (DCC) systems treated in this paper will be essentially suitable for recent microprocessor-based control techniques. Consequently the functional improvement of DCC systems will be realized with use of microprocessor-based control techniques. And the variable speed control of a three-phase induction motor will be accomplished with realization of a Variable Voltage and Variable Frequency (VVVF) source. A microprocessor-based control method of three-pulse DCC systems was presented by H. Ichida in [5], while a microprocessor-based control method of six-pulse DCC systems will be treated in this paper.
