  • Abstract
A hi-vision three-dimensional system with two MUSE videodisc players and a 6-tube-type projector called hi-vision, has been developed. Using the hi-vision picture, excellent three-dimensional video pictures can be presented on large-scale screens. The two videodisc players enable synchronized replaying to reproduce three-dimensional images. A 6-tube-type projector with two-way RGB input is adopted for display. By using laser discs, long-time consecutive video replay is possible. In case of replaying without three-dimensional characteristics, long-term replay or repeated replay of two different hi-vision programs can be presented by operating the two players alternately
