  • Abstract
    A new one dimensionally causal state-space image representation is developed and employed in deriving several line-by-line recursive restoration procedures for images degraded by blur and additive noise. The optimal and two practical suboptimal restoration schemes-strip restoration and constrained optimal restoration-are included.
