  • Abstract
In this paper, we address the problem of blind extraction of a chaotic signal from an instantaneous linear mixture. Determination of the desired extracting vector is formulated as an optimization problem, in which the knowledge of the dynamics of the chaotic signal to be extracted is exploited. A noisy chaotic signal is first extracted and a noise reduction technique is then used to refine the extracted signal. Numerical simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach can extract a specific chaotic signal from a linear mixture consisting of some chaotic signals and/or random signals.
