Abstract
Recent experiments have shown that the impedance band width of microstrip antennas can be broadened to as high as 21.7% by using a displaced multilayer triangular structure. Bandwidth may be further improved using thicker substrates. The proposed configuration may be suitable for use in both planar and conformal arrays
