Abstract
Cardiac CT scanning is a subject of great potential importances. There are two possible ways to make this an actuality: One is ultrafast CT scanner and the other is ECG synchronized CT. At present the latter is easier but the value of it is strictly limited because it requires several minutes which does not allow for the patient to hold his breath. Treated here are the time-saving methods of ECG synchronized CT using a computer controlled flying spot X-ray microbeam generator. The proposed methods are called (1) multilens method and (2) rocking fan beam method.
