  • Abstract
    The basic characterizing parameters of magnetic recording media are critically examined. The applicability and usefulness of the measurement of remanence curves are discussed together with their relationship to time-dependent phenomena. Techniques for the determination of anisotropy fields are also presented. The application of DC and AC magnetic measurement techniques to the characterization of pigment dispersions is briefly discussed
