  • Abstract
    With codes using digits to a higher scale than binary, it is necessary to distinguish between the size of an error (e.g. measured in Lee distance) and the number of digits in error. But some of the principles of error-correcting binary codes can be used in the construction of single-digit-correcting decimal codes.
