  • Abstract
    The excitation and propagation of axially symmetric surface plasma waves along a plasma column are investigated at frequencies from 100 to 200MHz. There are experimentally obtained dispersion curves for such waves in gas-discharge plasmas of He, Ne and Kr at pressures of 0.03¿0.20torr. The results are in good agreement with the theory of surface waves in quasistatic approximation.
