  • Abstract
    A new algorithm and its advantages are presented. This algorithm, based on the numerical inversion Laplace transform, takes into account frequency dependent parameters and can be applied to transient calculations with good accuracy and versatility. It can be easily used to study transient overvoltages in both simple and complex cases. The numerical results obtained agree with measured values
