  • Abstract
One of the most challenging environments an engineer can design for is space. Reliability is vital as unmanned spacecraft are totally unattended and manned spacecraft put human lives at risk. Near Los Angeles Rockwell International builds both the space shuttle and the B1 bomber. The management team work hard in encouraging their workers to be reliable and to admit their mistakes
