Abstract
The fundamental frequency behaviour of power convertors to unbalanced supply voltages is described in the paper. The model used caters for the effect of variable unbalance, variable firing angle, different firing systems, and the effect of a noninfinite DC reactance. The results are of use for a wide range of applications, such as HVDC and power drives.
