  • Abstract
    A new integrated device consisting of two tandem-integrated InGaAsP electroabsorption modulators (TEAMs) was proposed and evaluated. It has been confirmed that the two important functions, pulse generation and data modulation, in soliton transmitters can be realised simultaneously in this single-chip device.
