  • Abstract
    A radial-line/coaxial-line junction having a step in the inner conductor in the coaxial aperture is considered. It is shown that the stepped junction may be modeled by an equivalent circuit obtained by a simple modification of that for the unstepped junction. Comparison of theoretical and experimental results has established this representation to be very accurate over a wide frequency range.
