Equivalent representation of broad-band transmission-line transformer with vector impedances

A method of analyzing broad-band Transmission-line transformers from their open- and short-circuit vector impedances is presented. From a set of open- and short-circuit impedance measurements, the input impedance and insertion loss of the transformer when terminated in any arbitrary load impedance are calculated directly.
