  • Abstract
    Submarine optical-fibre cable design considering low elongation under tension is proposed. Submarine cable using aluminium pressure resistant pipe according to this design can decrease the cable elongation under laying and recovery, and can be used even in deep sea up to a depth of 5000 m.
