Abstract
A practical technique is presented for the numerical solution of magnetic field problems. In this method, the electromagnetic field equations represented by the differential forms can be replaced by the network forms, and are described by the conventional circuit variables such as voltage, current, flux, and magnetomotive force. The equations of given problems are formulated in the circuit forms, and are solved by use of the nodal analysis method in the circuit theory. The method is applied to the wave form analysis of peak wave transformer. The results obtained by neglecting the core loss are compared with the analytical solutions, and good agreement is obtained between the two solutions.
