Comments, with reply, on ´Condition assessment of unshielded aged power and control cables by electrical techniques´ by J.M. Braun

The commenter contends that the conclusion reached in the above-titled paper that there is little evidence that conventional tests discriminate conclusively between good and deteriorated unshielded cables is incorrect. He maintains that the author´s data can be viewed in such a manner that it will support the opposite conclusion. The author presents further arguments in support of his conclusion.<>
