  • Abstract
    A transversal filter integrated circuit, fabricated using 1 ¿m GaAs MESFET technology, is described. The filter uses 280 MESFETs, has a clocked delay line and on-chip tap weighting to give three different filter responses. Operation has been demonstrated up to a clock frequency of 400 MHz, which is believed to be the fastest reported operation of a clocked transversal filter.
