Abstract
We have developed a voice speed control LSI that is capable of converting the varied voice information in real time, such as microphone voice (conversation), received broadcast voice, recorded voice (double-speed played back voice of VCR), and so on, into that at the easiest speed for the listener. The LSI adopts the time-lag adaptive voice speed control technology (TASCOTY) algorithm which have originally developed. This technology allows us to change the voice speed without altering the voice pitch
