  • Abstract
The finite element method has been applied to clarify the relation between magnetic characteristics of the electrical steel and power transformer iron losses. Three material constants which represent the magnetic characteristics are used for this study. The computed results have contributed to understanding of factors which increase the transformer iron losses.
