Abstract
A comparison of the performance of transport control protocol (TCP) congestion control variants: Reno, Vegas, and SACK in the presence of varying reverse traffic is presented. A new metric called adjusted utilisation, which is based on both link utilisation and fairness, is introduced in the comparison.
