Secularism : The Origin , Growth and Conseque

سكولاريزم حذف دين از عرصه هاي سياسي ، اجتماعي ، اقتصادي و علمي است ؛ به عبارت ديگر تهي ساختن حيات اجتماعي انسان از دين و نشانه هاي آن را سكولاريزم گويند . استفادۀ ابزاري از دين در قرون وسطي ، تفسير كتاب مقدس بر اساس يافته هاي علوم تجربي ، اختلافات شديد فرقه اي در مسيحيت كه سبب جنگهاي طولاني و خونين گرديد و نيز اعتماد بيش از حد انسان به خويشتن كه بر اثر پيشرفت دانش تجربي پيش آمد زمينه هاي حذف دين از حيات اجتماعي انسان را فراهم آورد . اين دين زدايي خاص جوامع غربي است . نوع ديگري از سكولاريزم نيز جامعۀ مارا تهديد مي كند كه مي توان آن را برآيند كارآمدي سه نگرش كاملأ متفاوت دانست : يكي نگرش تنگ نظرانه اي كه دين را منحصر در ذهنيات و برداشت هاي شخصي خود دانسته و مي كوشد به هر شكل ممكن آن را بر ديگران تحميل كند . ديگري نگرشي كه دخالت دين در امور اجتماعي و حكو متي را براي تقدس دين زيانبار مي داند و بر جدايي دين از سياست پافشاري مي كند . و نگرش ديگر به كساني تعلق دارد كه به فرهنگ غرب دل بسته اند و آن را كعبۀ آمال خود مي دانند . اين نوشتار بر آن است كه اسلام ناب ، حيات فردي و اجتماعي هردو را پوشش مي دهد و ظرفيت گشودن مشكلات جوامع بشري در تمام زمان ها را دارد

Secularism consists in putting religion away from political , social , economical and scientific areas ; in other words , it means making social life of man thoroughly free from religious signs and purposes . Instrumental misusing of religion during middle ages , basing Christian theology upon the findings of experimental sciences , destructive durable sectarian wars in Christian world of the day as well as feeling too self-sufficiency as a result of strange progress of experimental sciences led to the withdrawal of religion from socio-political of man . The fact occurred in the western societies and only belongs to them . Another kind of secularism , however , threaten our own Islamic society ; the one being known as a consequence for three different modes of thought : ones of those who have restricted religious thought to their own limited mind and try to impose it on others in any probable way , of those viewing socio-political affairs to be harmful to divinity and holiness of religion and insisting , therefore , on separation of religion from socio-political matters , and of those too attracted by western manners of life and thought . This paper has argued for the comprehensiveness and dynamic nature of Islam and showed its full capacity for solving all socio-political problems
