Investigation of Accidents in Electric Power Industry of Iran and Need for a General Safety Manual

People think that technology development can offer them a better living, but without safety this technology can be more harmful and they should expect more accidents.Humans need some safety rules and guidelines for using the technology, also they need continuous improvements in safety performance. In this paper we review some accidents In electric power industry and statistics about this events are shown. The knowledge of most safety principles is based on the premise that the best way to prevent accident, injuries and other anticipated losses is to engineer a system so that hazard never take place in the first place. Then the reasons for this situation will be studied for preparation of a General Safety Manual.
