Abul Ala Maari and Khayyam's Approach to Life and Death

مرگ به عنوان يكي از بزرگ‌ترين معماهاي حيات بشري در طول تاريخ همواره مورد توجه متفكران و انديشمندان بوده است. ابوالعلاء معري شاعر، انديشمند و متفكر عرب و خيام نيشابوري شاعر، فيلسوف و دانشمند ايراني از جمله شخصيت‌هايي بوده‌اند كه در باب مرگ تأملات بسياري داشته‌اند. از نظر آن‌ها برداشت‌هاي مختلفي از مرگ وجود دارد. برداشت‌هاي مثبت و منفي كه ريشه در فلسفه آفرينش و معناي زندگي دارد و بدون دستيابي به فلسفه حيات نمي‌توان برداشت درستي از مرگ داشت. در نتيجه ميان معناي زندگي و مرگ رابطه عميقي برقرار است. ما به ياري خداوند قصد داريم در اين مقاله ضمن ارائه شرح حالي از زندگي دو شاعر به بررسي و تحليل افكار و عقايد و وجوه تشابه و تباين بين آنان بپردازيم و ديدگاه اين دو تن را نسبت به مقوله فناپذيري و مرگ مورد نقد و بررسي قرار دهيم.

Death, as one of the greatest mysteries of human life throughout history, has always been considered by thinkers. Abul Ala Moari, an Arab poet, thinker, and Khayyam Neyshabouri, an Iranian poet, philosopher, and scientist, were among the characters who thought a lot about death. According to them, there are different perceptions of death. Positive and negative perceptions that are rooted in the philosophy of creation and the meaning of life, and without achieving the philosophy of life, it cannot have a correct perception of death. As a result, there is a deep connection between the meaning of life and death. With God's help, in this article, while presenting a biography of the two poets' life, we intend to study and analyze the thoughts, ideas, and aspects of similarities and differences between them, and to examine the views of these two people on the category of mortality and death.
