It is said that Imam al-Husayn's infant was martyred in effect of being shot with a three-blade arrow on Ashura. Using such an arrow suggests more than just killing in the ancient Arab culture. It conveys that the enemy was resolute to cut off and eradicate the family tree of Imam al-Husayn on Ashura, hence an endeavor to martyr Imam al-Husayn's infant in a so heart-rending manner.
