فرانظريه‌پردازي ضرورتي براي نقد نظريات جامعه‌شناسي

Necessary Metatheory for the Critique of Sociological Theories

تنوع آراء و نظريات جامعه‌شناسي و نياز توسعه علم به بازانديشي و نقد مداوم نظريات، ارائه چارچوبي منطقي براي نقد و بررسي نظريه‌هاي جامعه‌شناسي را ضروري مي‌سازد. هدف نوشتار حاضر فراهم آوردن اين چارچوب با تكيه بر مفهوم فرانظريه‌پردازي است. روش مورد استفاده، روش اسنادي با تكيه بر مرور انتقادي منابع است. نتايج تحليل انتقادي نشان مي‌دهد، اولاً در حاليكه نقد روشمند نظريه‌ها و فرانظريه‌سازي يك امر ضروري و اجتناب‌ناپذير براي بهبود و پيشرفت نظري در جامعه‌شناسي است امّا اين فرايند در عمل با چالش‌هاي عديده‌اي روبروست؛ ثانياً فرانظريه‌پردازي اين امكان را به جامعه‌شناس مي‌دهد كه در يك چارچوب منطقي، نظريات جامعه‌شناسي را مورد بازانديشي و نقد قرار داده و به فهم عميق‌تري از آن دست يافته و چشم‌انداز نظري جديدي را خلق نمايد. ثالثاً با استفاده از رويكرد فرانظري شش گام عمده را مي‌توان براي نقد نظريه جامعه‌شناسي برداشت كه شامل شناسايي و تصريح مسئله يا سؤال نظري، استخراج و صورت‌بندي منطقي گزاره‌ها و قضاياي بنيادي نظريه، شناسايي و تحليل مفروضات نظريه، تحليل قابليت سازگاري و پيوند نظريه با ساير نظريات، تحليل قابليت وارسي و اعتباريابي تجربي نظريه و در نهايت مقايسه نظريه با نظريات مشابه رقيب و تحليل شباهت‌ها و تفاوت‌هاي آنها بويژه از حيث قوت منطقي گزاره‌ها و مفروضات، قابليت پيوند با ساير نظريات و قابليت اعتباريابي تجربي آنهاست.

Sociological theories are diverse and this science needs rethinking and critique. If so, far sociological critiques have not had a clear framework. Therefore, a specific method and framework are needed to critique sociological theories. The purpose of this article is to provide a suitable framework for criticizing theories. For this purpose, an attempt has been made to use a metatheoretical approach. The research method is documentary and review. Research findings show that the critique of sociological theories is necessary for theoretical progress in this field. But the critique process has significant challenges and metatheorizing is a good framework for overcoming these challenges. Metatheorizing allows for the rethinking and critique of theories and their deep understanding. Metatheorizing also creates a new theoretical perspective. In this research, six main steps for criticizing sociological theories are mentioned. These steps include identifying a theoretical problem or question, extracting the propositions and fundamental theorems of the theory, identifying and analyzing the assumptions of the theory, analyzing the compatibility of the theory, examining the connection of theory with other theories, examining the empirical validity of the theory, comparing theory with other theories, extracting similarities and differences, and theoretical links.
