An Epistemological Approach to Platonic "Ideas"

This paper is devoted to a study of the theory of Platonic "Ideas" and its important role in epistemology. The writer has first discussed the theory of "Ideas" almost in detail with reference to Platoʹs different Dialogues and presents the different interpretations of this theory. In what follows, the writer refers to the origins of this theory in the ideas of Platoʹs predecessors. Finally. he introduces the most important criticisms targeted at Platonic "Ideas".
