AMERICA AND THE GREAT MIDDLE EAST PLAN:ENDS, MEANS, AND PROBLEMS

In order to establish itʹs hegemony and complete the process of controlling resources, controlling actors, and controlling the global events and trends, America needs to achieve changes in conditions, actors, and the Middle East processes. The Middle East enjoys a great importance and a higher priority, in terms of subjects such as hegemony, culture, globalization, ideology, economy and energy, especially national security for America. In trying to achieve itʹs ends in the above-said subjects, America follows especially high priority plans, strategy, and policy in the Middle East. The article examines the "Great Middle East Plan", Americaʹs means for carrying it out, obstacles in the way of their goals, and also the impacts of the plan on the Islamic Republic of Iran. Almost implicitly, this article seeks to address the question of whether "Great Middle East Plan" and itʹs most fundamental element -- the development of democracy in the Middle East - is sheer propaganda and slogan for America or it is planning to achieve some political goals, and to get the regionʹs countries under itʹs control, or these subjects are going to be followed by America on a strategic level in the longer run.
