NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF LINEAR AND NON-LINEAR POISSONʹS EQUATION

In this paper, the numerical solution of the following partial differential equation has been considered: a u+ a u+ a u_ µu V,air ayʹ az T with boundary conditiondm I r=f(x,y,z)where r is a sphere with raduis R. For u = 0, finite difference method is used and the approximated solution is obtained. For u = 1, Finite Element Method is employed. It should be noted that is equation has many applications in physics and engineering.
