Information seeking behavior of Ferdowsi University faculty members on Internet

This paper reports the result of a survey conducted at Ferdowsi University on the information seeking behavior of faculty members in Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Social Sciences and Humanities. The effects of some occupational factors were also studied. The description and analysis of the data collected from the study population indicate that there are major differences in information seeking behavior of the members of major disciplines.
