A model proposed for the analysis of verbal protocols in reading comprehension

With the increasing application of the method of introspection in the analysis of the verbal data in reading comprehension, important steps have been taken in the analysis of reading methods and the interactive theory. But what all these analyses lack is an efficient model for the classification of methods and exact specification of a governing theory in various stages of problem solving in the process of reading comprehension. In this article, the writer proposes a model for the analysis of verbal data in reading comprehension based on step-by-step processing of data in the process of problem solving.
