MULTI NATIONAL COMPANIES

Multinational companies are a phenomena that were created in the post - second world war by the Western countries (formen colonizers), which expanded their activities throughout the world gradually. Their economic power is huge, so that the power of a transnational company is more than the power of a number of conventional states. They can influence host countries easily, made coup dʹetats, such as in Chile and Iran. One of the particulars of them, is the competition among them, also buying small companies. May be the number of their employees is more than the population of a certain country. Any way, the economic, political and military state of these dominated countries is exposed to the covetings of the companies, but juridically, United Nations has taken actions in this regard. Yet it is certain that there is no universal power and organization at the present time to limit these companies power. It is hoped that a political alternative will be searched in the realm of international relations, through which small and weak sovereignties can sustain their sovereignty. As Saddi, Iranian poet, says: no man is a lone island.
