An Environmental Study Toward Site Selection of Landfill For The City of Sari

aste is an inevitable final product in human societies. Life and environmental risks resulting from inadeqnate management of solid waste are a main problem in a country. However, to manage and analyze diffrent spatial data, GIS is a useful tool that in the short run and with a little cost can fulfill the purpose with adequate accuracy. In this research, it is intended to determine the best range for prescribed factores (as a model) and then to find and select the best sites for solid waste disposal on a map.
