RESTRUCTURING AND CHANGING MODELS ON THE MAIN STRUCTURE OF THE NEIGHBORHOODS

Models are abstract perceptions adopted from common concepts of residents of spaces and environments. They appear through symbols, needs and norms. These models make complexities of the environment understandable and create a tangible space. Therefore, without a clear perspective from their concepts and perceptions, it is impossible to have clear behavioral and normative models. In other words, models express the ideas and aspirations of the people. Aspirations that have arisen from the internal inclinations and personal beliefs and could be observed tangibly. Neighborhood, its structure, texture, formation and transformation is one of these models. The need to conceive the concept of space, cultural, historical and local characteristics on the one hand, and the criteria for identifying the elements of the neighborhood structure on the other, would pave the way for creating subjective models to study the elements of the neighborhood structure. This would pave the way for syntax and linguistic criteria on neighborhood structure and make their application a reality.
