The Role of Technological Learning in Technological Development of Developing Countries

Numerous models have been given for the process of technological development in developing countries. The main ones among them recommend the tech no logical learning and adapting the imported technologies in the framework of technological changes. learning happers through targeted efforts and is not spontaneous. The technological efforts of enterprises in some developing countries show that not only the adaptation of imported technologies oner a period but also taking grant steps toward developing and commercializing the technologies are possible. The learning process is affected by many factors such as learning orientation and absorption capacity. This article testifies the dynamic learning in Korea in general and two Korean companies of HYUNDAI and KIA MOTORS in particular.
