The Position of Defense Affairs in Government Budget Behavior : A Quantitative Analysis

Up to now, various claims have been made about the influence of defense expenditures on the economic function of our country. In several researches which have been carried out in this regard, the effects of such expenses on economic growth have been reviewed. According to the available data, no research paper, up to date, has paid attention to the analysis of government budget behavior with focus on defense expenditures. The present article has been prepared based on independent research conclusions in this regard and is trying to analyze the position of defense affairs in the government budget behavior on a qantitatively - based method. In this analysis, four hypotheses including difference or adjustment of actual objectives and planned objectives, comparison of defense affairs share in Islamic Republic of Iran, volnurabilities of defense budgets, and alternative relationship among defense, education, and health sections have been tested. At the end of the article, the preliminary conclusions of the tests have been presented.
