Study of the Satisfaction Rate of Patients Hospitalized at Sabzevar Hospitals in 1380 - 81

Patientsʹ satisfaction is a dominant concept in medical care . Any organization providing a product or services is expected to receive feedback from its clients so as to determine the defects and design reformative measures . It is not only considered to enhance the patientsʹ commitments in following medical prescriptions ; but also , it is regarded as one of the consequences of the system to achieve it . This cross-sectional study involved 914 patients hospitalized in different wards of Mobini , Embad , and 160-bed hospitals in Sabzevar ; they were given a standardized questionnaire including open and closed questions on their satisfaction from the services provided for them . Data analysis was done through Spearman correlation coefficient and Mann Whitney-U tests . Results indicated that the highest correlation negatively existed between age and satisfaction from emergency and nursing staff . Women expressed higher satisfaction , than men , from emergency , nursing staff , reception , nutrition and clothing .
