In this paper we present an exact method for finding optimal replenishment over a fixed planning horizon for items with linearly time varying demand and under inflationary condition. We consider a perishable item that follows two parameters weibull distribution. Two numerical examples are taken up to illustrate the solution procedure and sensitivity analysis of the optimal solutions with respect to the parameters of system is also carried out.
